What tours.photo uses today
tours.photo does not currently set any advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is a single entry in local storage (not a cookie, but covered by the same rules) that remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner, so we don't ask again on every visit.
Strictly necessary storage
A few small local-storage entries keep the site working as you'd expect — for example, remembering your cookie-banner choice. These aren't tracking and can't be turned off individually, but they never leave your browser and contain no personal data.
Anonymous click tracking
When you click a "Book with [operator]" button or an operator's website link, we log that a click happened for that tour or operator. This uses no cookies and no personal identifiers — it's just a counter that helps us understand which tours are getting attention, and it can't be tied back to you.
If this changes
If we add analytics (e.g. to see how many people visit each page) or any marketing cookies in the future, we'll update this page and ask for your consent through the cookie banner before loading them — declining will continue to work exactly as accepting does for using the site itself.
Controlling storage yourself
You can clear local storage or block it entirely from your browser's settings at any time; the site will keep working, it will just ask for your cookie preference again on your next visit.
